Becoming a Better student
This is the second piece as was promised in the first edition of my blogpost titled 'Becoming a better Student (part 1)'.
In the first piece, we learnt that one needs to be prayerful, focused, a good time Manager, action oriented and able to walk the lonely path to success.
Actually, these principle are not only applicable to students but to everyone who wants to succeed in life.
In this edition, we I will base my discussion on general things I have learnt so far in life and not entirely on Dr.Ontieri's lecture in early 2017.
Well I think a better heading for this could be; Top Secrets to Greatness.

Know who to trust
Everyone in your neighborhood need not know of every struggle and joy you go through.
It has been my conviction that when everyone can tell the story of your life, then, you are not headed the right way.
Let only your public life be known to the public and your private life be personal.
Some people we tell our personal stories are not up to any good. They may trade with it, use it to mock you sometime later on life, or even use it for witchcraft purposes, with an aim of barring you from achieving a foreseen success.
Aim to create friends and enemies with equal measure
Enemies are an important part of our lives. This is especially so because they make us learn one or two things from ourselves. Well, if you don't then, you are actually an enemy of yourself!
They make our unknown-self known to us; things that our friends would otherwise not have told us. Therefore, enemies are not entirely bad, right?
Friends are good for they will always be with you in the many things you do. However, you need to be very careful with the friends you choose and keep should you want to excell.
I thought you should know that many great people have fallen because of poor judgement of friends they want to keep.
Have fun in everything you do
The place of joy and happiness in our lives is absolutely in our heart. Maybe it is in the job you do, maybe in the games you play, your hobbies, among the people you meet and interract with, I mean, in literally all spheres of your life.
No one will give fun if you cannot make it yourself.
While in primary school, I learned a phrase 'it's never that serious' and I can assure you, if you aren't having fun in whatever you do, then you are not making progress.
Having given these few lessons, I believe I cannot exhaust everything in one blogpost. Keep it to this blog and subscribe for more from me.
Happy reading
