If I Die Young
The reality of death and life is a gift that only human beings can understand. Talking of it is a nightmare that no one wants to face in reality.
The unfortunate thing, however, is that the ultimate way for all living things that breathe is death. In this regard it is important we value one another when we still have the time to do so.
It is of best practise to acknowledge the presence if other people in our lives and do actions that we shall be proud to be associated with, even in our afterlife.
IF I DIE YOUNG...
If I die young, be happy for you shall see me no more
The dark days you suffered for me shall be no more
The sacrifices you made for me shall live to save you another day.
If I die young, don't burry me in a suit.
It shall only benefit the ants in my grave.
Burry me not in an executive casket,
For it adds no value to my dead bones.
For when I lived, it never mattered to you
That one day We shall depart ways,
And you shall long even just to hear my voice
That the things you hated me for telling you,
Are the same things that changed your life.
If I die young, I die in Christ, I die to live again.
If I die young
Tell my kids I was a fighter,
And I wanted them to be more than conquerors
Tell my brethren that I Have gone to my father
That I am making rooms for them,
But I don't pray they come any soon
Until the time is ripe for them to come,
That is, if I die young.
If I die young, cry not for losing me,
Coz you can't lose what you never had,
You can't treasure a gift after its gone.
Cry not for the sweet memories we had,
For the hurdles we had to overcome,
Weep not and be not dismayed
Think of the chances you had to change the world,
But always had a reason not to do so.
Remember that you too shall follow suit.
So be prepared to be the change you want.
If I die young
I shall shall preserve my energy for the afterworld.
Where I shall jump and rejoice for a life well lived.
A life full of truth and justice to all.
A life I shall never regret even in the underworld
And I shall happily say,
"I am glad I did what I had to do"
If I die young, I shall live young.
